Root Procedure For Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini

NOTE : Don’t use this method to root any other device.

Things to Do before Rooting Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini:

The most important step to take before rooting your device is to back up all your important data.
USB Debugging must be set on. If it is not then go here => All apps > Settings > Manage Applications > Development > USB Debugging. Check the box in front of it.
Charge your battery upto 80%.
Install Samsung kies from here.

How To Root Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini:

First of all Download this File and save it in your Computer.
Make sure you have Samsung kies and all its drivers installed on your computer.
Now extract the downloaded file to a folder.
Now switch off your mobile phone and then hold the “Volume down + Power Key (long Press)”, till you see the Android Logo on screen. This will boot the phone into Odin mode.
Now press the “Volume Up key”. After this you will enter the Download mode.
Now connect your phone to your computer via USB Cable. After connecting, you will notice that the ID:COM box in Odin glows Green or Yellow in color and you’ll also see “Added” message in “Odin Message Box”.
Now you will see a button named “PDA”. Click on it and then select the file “.tar.md5“, which you have downloaded.
Now you need to confirm that only “F. Reset Time” and “Auto Reboot” boxes are checked on Odin. Make sure that no other boxes are checked.
Now just click on start button on Odin and wait for 5-6 minutes.
After some time get “PASS!” notification on the ID:COM box and your phone will be rooted.
